Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) and the visiting Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL), observed Appalachian's volleyball team top Brilliant by a tally of 3-1.
The Eagles (16-9) will now prepare for their test against Marion County (Guin, AL). The Red Raiders go into the non-league test with a 18-16 record. In their last test, Marion County achieved victory over Ider (Ider, AL), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 13-9 record.
