Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Lynden improves its record to 13-0 on the season. The Lions host Anacortes (Anacortes, WA) to meet the Seahawks in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Saturday, October 25. The Seahawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Anacortes 0-0 in their recent league challenge against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
Next, the Wildcats meet the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Monday, October 27. Oak Harbor will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Storm go into the test with a 7-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Sehome (Bellingham, WA).
