In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) volleyball team knocked off the host Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 3-0.

The Thunderbolts now possess a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ironwood Ridge for a 4A - Kino bout on Thursday, October 23. Mica Mountain will clash with a Nighthawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 19-15.

With the loss, Sabino drops to 5-16 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A - South bout on Friday, October 24. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-13. Thatcher won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ)
