Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mariners confront the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 25. Oceanside will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 6-2 league win over Old Town (Old Town, ME).
The Wildcats now possess a 5-9 record.
