Colorado High School Volleyball - Douglas County over Standley Lake

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) and the visiting Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO), saw Douglas County's volleyball squad beat Standley Lake by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Douglas County upgrades its record to 10-11 on the year. The Huskies travel to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Grizzlies in a 5A Continental bout on Tuesday, October 24. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 6-16. ThunderRidge won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pomona (Arvada, CO)

The Gators now own a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen for a 4A Jeffco bout on Tuesday, October 24. Standley Lake will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Conifer (Conifer, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 11-10.
