The North Smithfield Northmen volleyball team (North Smithfield, RI), went down 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI)

The Townies (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs enter the Division 2 challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Westerly defeated Lincoln (Lincoln, RI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Northmen encounter the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 26. North Smithfield will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI).
