The Sioux Valley Cossacks volleyball team (Volga, SD), was nudged 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD)

The Blue Dragons (16-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Madison, SD). The Bulldogs enter the A Region 3 challenge with a 18-7 record. In their last challenge, Madison was nudged by Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cossacks encounter the Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, October 24. Sioux Valley will attempt to move on its 14-14 season record. The Elks enter the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD).
