The Goodwin Tech Gladiators held off the host University Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Gladiators now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Wilcox RVT for a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 25. Goodwin Tech will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, University moves to 4-13 on the year. The Hawks host Prince RVT (Hartford, CT) to battle the Falcons in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 24. The Falcons go into the contest with a record of 18-0. Prince RVT won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Capital Prep (Hartford, CT)
