The Washingtonville Wizards volleyball team (Washingtonville, NY), went down 3-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY)

The Goldbacks (5-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Warwick notched a victory over Middletown (Middletown, NY), 3-0, in a league bout.

The Wizards now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Central for a Section 9 Orange County III bout on Tuesday, October 24. Washingtonville will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 5-10.
