The Ponchatoula Green Wave volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Pearl River Rebels to 0 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Monday.

The Green Wave now have a 17-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hammond for a Division I District 5 game on Tuesday, October 24. Ponchatoula will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 12-15.

The Rebels (13-9) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Hawks enter the Division III District 7 game with a 36-3 record. In their last game, Archbishop Hannan gained a win over Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
