Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) and the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), saw Williams's soccer squad hold off Cedar Ridge by a count of 3-2.

The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Northwood was edged by Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Fighting Red Wolves battle the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 28. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Vipers enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC).
