In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Avon Old Farms Beavers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Kent School Lions.

The Beavers (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT). The Wyverns go into the Founders outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Kingswood Oxford by Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Lions confront the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) in a Founders outing, on Saturday, October 26. Kent School will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Big Red go into the outing with a 11-3 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT).
