The Pine Island Panthers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Breck Mustangs to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Paul Academy-Summit for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 30. Pine Island will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Breck moves to 7-6 on the year.
