New Mexico High School Soccer - La Cueva knocks off Santa Fe

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting La Cueva Bears soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Santa Fe Demons.
The Bears (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, Manzano by Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 7-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Demons play the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 outing, on Saturday, October 26. Santa Fe will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Matadors go into the outing with a 8-10 record after their 5-1 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
