Colorado High School Volleyball - Highland tips Gilpin County

October 23, 2024: Ault, CO 80610

The Highland Huskies (Ault, CO) volleyball held off the visiting Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Loveland Classical for a non-league bout on Monday, October 28. Highland will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-1 league loss to STEM School Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Lions record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Gilpin County drops to 9-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO) to clash with the Golddiggers in a 2A/1A Mile High bout on Tuesday, October 29. The Golddiggers come into the bout with a record of 7-10. Clear Creek lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO)
