Vanguard Christian Knights (Boerne, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 56-41 in a non-league contest.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against DaVinci (San Antonio, TX). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the confront the Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 24. Varsity Opponent will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Forerunners go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 77-49 non-league loss to Lamar Christian (Purvis, MS).
