Texas High School Football - Hays falls to Anderson

The Anderson Trojans felled the host Hays Hawks football team by a score of 29-14 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Lockhart Lions (Lockhart, TX) in a 5A-1 Region III District 12 test, on Thursday, October 30. Anderson will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 45-14 league loss to College Station (College Station, TX).

With the defeat, Hays drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 5A-1 Region III District 12 test on Friday, October 31. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-2. A&M Consolidated won 49-0 in their recent league challenge against Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX)
