Eagle Mountain Knights (Fort Worth, TX) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX), 48-0 in a league match.

The Knights (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX). The Rams come into the 4A-2 Region I District 3 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Mineral Wells was routed by Graham (Graham, TX), 42-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulls play the Burkburnett Bulldogs (Burkburnett, TX) in a 4A-2 Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 31. Bridgeport will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 66-7 league loss to Brock (Brock, TX).
