The Maryvale Panthers (Phoenix, AZ) football knocked off the visiting Carl Hayden Community Falcons (Phoenix, AZ), 49-18 in Thursday's league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a 4A Copper Sky outing on Friday, October 31. Maryvale will battle a Rams team coming off a 57-21 league win over Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.

The Falcons (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs enter the 4A Copper Sky game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Copper Canyon notched a victory over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ), 44-14, in a league game.
