Deer Creek Antlers (Edmond, OK) boosters were content Thursday as they observed their football squad nudge the visiting Norman Tigers (Norman, OK), 30-28 in a league match.
The Antlers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Bixby (Bixby, OK). The Spartans come into the 6A-I District 1 match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Bixby tipped Mustang (Mustang, OK), 38-22, in a league match.
Next up, the Tigers play the Mustang Broncos (Mustang, OK) in a 6A-I District 1 battle, on Friday, October 31. Norman will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Broncos go into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 38-22 league loss to Bixby (Bixby, OK).
