Oklahoma High School Football - Shawnee wallops Edison

The Shawnee Wolves football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting Edison Eagles to 0 in the Wolves league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolves now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Kelley for a 5A District 3 game on Friday, October 31. Shawnee will face a Comets team coming off a 42-6 league win over East Central (Tulsa, OK). The Comets record now stands at 3-5.

The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their game against East Central (Tulsa, OK). The Cardinals enter the 5A District 3 game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, East Central was overwhelmed by Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK), 42-6, in a league outing.
