Heavener Wolves (Heavener, OK) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team overwhelm the host Okmulgee Bulldogs (Okmulgee, OK), 40-8 in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves play the Kiefer Trojans (Kiefer, OK) in a 2A-I District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 31. Heavener will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 53-0 league win over Bethel (Shawnee, OK).

With the defeat, Okmulgee drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bethel (Shawnee, OK) to meet the Wildcats in a 2A-I District 3 test on Friday, October 31. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-3. Bethel lost 53-0 in their recent league test against Kiefer (Kiefer, OK)
