The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE) and the visiting Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE), witnessed Howard's football squad wallop Wilmington Friends by a tally of 32-0.

The Wildcats (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE). The Green Knights go into the 2A District 1 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Mount Pleasant smashed Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE), 28-21, in a league bout.

The Quakers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Tatnall for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 1. Wilmington Friends will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 44-6 non-league loss to Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE). The Hornets record now stands at 1-7.
