The Lone Grove Longhorns felled the visiting Perkins-Tryon Demons football team by a score of 24-14 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Longhorns meet the McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK) in a 3A District 2 test, on Friday, October 31. Lone Grove will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Redskins come into the test with a 0-8 record after their 48-14 league loss to Bristow (Bristow, OK).

With the defeat, Perkins-Tryon drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Demons host Bristow (Bristow, OK) to meet the Pirates in a 3A District 2 test on Friday, October 31. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 3-5. Bristow won 48-14 in their recent league test against McLoud (McLoud, OK)
