Texas High School Football - Montgomery crushes West Fork

October 23, 2025: Kingwood, TX 77339

Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host West Fork Gators (Kingwood, TX), 52-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Montgomery advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Bears host Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) to play the Indians in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 31. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 8-0. Port Neches-Groves won 49-17 in their recent league battle against Nederland (Nederland, TX)

The Gators now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dayton for a 5A-2 Region II District 8 match on Friday, October 31. West Fork will confront a Broncos squad coming off a 34-7 league win over Splendora (Splendora, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 5-3.
