Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX) boosters were happy Thursday as they witnessed their football squad smash the visiting North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX), 45-0 in a league match.

The Rough Riders (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions go into the 5A-1 Region I District 4 battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, South Hills routed Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX), 42-19, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Steers confront the Wyatt Chaparrals (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 4 match, on Friday, October 31. North Side will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Chaparrals come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 37-31 league win over Paschal (Fort Worth, TX).
