Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 49-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Capistrano Valley improves its record to 9-0 on the season.
With the defeat, El Modena drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Cypress (Cypress, CA) to meet the Centurions in a test on Thursday, October 30. The Centurions come into the test with a record of 2-6. Cypress lost 60-13 in their recent league test against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA)
