In Thursday's non-league match, the host Bryant Hurricanes flag football squad scored a good 31-19 triumph over the Murphy Panthers.
The Hurricanes (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Rain (Mobile, AL). The Red Raiders come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Rain defeated LeFlore (Mobile, AL), 14-6, in a league match.
Next up, the Panthers play the Williamson Lions (Mobile, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 28. Murphy will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 54-0 non-league loss to Bryant (Irvington, AL).
