In Thursday's non-league match, the host Lakeside Panthers flag football squad scored a good 25-0 triumph over the Statesboro Blue Devils.
The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Oconee County went down by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA), 13-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 28. Statesboro will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 14-6 non-league win over South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
