The Lovett Lions flag football squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Spalding Jaguars to 12 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Alcovy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. Lovett will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
The Jaguars (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Alcovy was edged by Rockdale County (Conyers, GA), 6-0, in a league challenge.
