In Thursday's non-league match, the host Bishop England Battling Bishops football squad scored a good 24-13 victory over the Bluffton Bobcats.
The Battling Bishops (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Cougars go into the battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Colleton County prevailed over Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC), 40-0, in a league battle.
The Bobcats now own a 3-4 record.
