In Thursday's league match, the visiting Cane Bay Cobras football squad scored a good 36-13 victory over the Goose Creek Gators.
The Cobras (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC). The Stags go into the battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Berkeley prevailed over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 21-2, in a league battle.
The Gators now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Stratford for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 30. Goose Creek will play a Knights squad coming off a 19-15 league win over Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Knights record now stands at 3-5.
