The Caprock Longhorns football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Lubbock Westerners to 0 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Longhorns now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tascosa for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 29. Caprock will face a Rebels team coming off a 36-13 non-league win over Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 7-1.

The Westerners (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies go into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Amarillo bounced Coronado (Lubbock, TX), 52-0, in a non-league challenge.
