North Carolina High School Football - Cary crushed by Middle Creek

The Middle Creek Mustangs overwhelmed the visiting Cary Imps football squad by a margin of 55-7 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Holly Springs for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 29. Middle Creek will meet a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Felton Grove (Apex, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 3-6.

The Imps (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal Gibbons bounced Sanderson (Raleigh, NC), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.
