The Hobbton Wildcats football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Lakewood Leopards to 14 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Duplin for a challenge on Thursday, October 30. Hobbton will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 42-37 non-league loss to Midway (Dunn, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Lakewood drops to 2-6 on the campaign.
