The Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) football tipped the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 17-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Mecklenburg for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 29. Myers Park will clash with a Sabres squad coming off a 16-14 non-league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, Hough drops to 5-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to battle the Titans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 29. The Titans enter the contest with a record of 3-3. Hopewell won 36-8 in their recent league contest against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
