The Mauldin Mavericks felled the host Woodmont Wildcats football team by a score of 27-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mavericks face the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 29. Mauldin will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 36-8 non-league loss to Greenwood (Greenwood, SC).
The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Hillcrest fell by Greenville (Greenville, SC), 26-12, in a non-league game.
