In Thursday's non-league game, the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) football team overcame the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), by a tally of 29-6.
In their next game, the Redhawks battle the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 29. Monroe will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
