In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Salem Spartans football squad scored a decisive 54-0 victory over the Pulaski County Cougars.
The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Hidden Valley was crushed by Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA), 42-14, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 30. Pulaski County will play a Patriots team coming off a 44-21 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.
