Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) and the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), saw Southwestern Randolph's soccer squad knock off Bishop McGuinness by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (20-1) will now prepare for their match against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Chargers come into the Four Rivers 3A/4A match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Northwood nipped North Moore (Robbins, NC), 4-2, in a league match.

The Villains now sport a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Airy for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 28.
