Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) and the host Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC), saw Holmes's soccer squad hold off Cape Hatteras by a count of 4-3.
The Aces (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins enter the Albemarle (AAC) 2A battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Manteo tipped Camden County (Camden, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
