In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Academy of Our Lady Penguins volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Central Lafourche Trojans.
The Penguins (31-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA). The enter the non-league challenge with a 25-5 record. In their last test, Haynes Academy achieved victory over Abramson (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 14-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host De La Salle for a non-league test on Monday, October 27. Central Lafourche will face a Cavalier squad coming off a 3-0 league win over New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier record now stands at 13-12.
