    Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) and the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), observed North Iredell's volleyball team top Alexander Central by a count of 3-1.

    The Raiders (22-7) will now prepare for their contest against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 25-1 record. In their last contest, Watauga notched a victory over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
