In Thursday's league challenge, the host Mechanicsville Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Armstrong Wildcats.
The Mustangs (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record.
The Wildcats now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meadowbrook for a non-league test on Monday, October 27. Armstrong will face a Monarchs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Hopewell (Hopewell, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-12.
