The New Salem Holsteins volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Glen Ullin/Hebron Bearcats to 0 in the Holsteins non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Holsteins now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilton/Wing for a non-league game on Thursday, October 30. New Salem will confront a Miners squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Washburn (Washburn, ND). The Miners record now stands at 7-8.
The Bearcats (13-10) will now prepare for their game against Hettinger/Scranton (Hettinger, ND). The Black Devils go into the B - Region 7 game with a 2-15 record. In their last game, Hettinger/Scranton was dropped by Bison (Bison, SD), 3-0, in a non-league game.
