In Thursday's league match, the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) volleyball team defeated the visiting Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA), by a count of 3-0.
The Cubs (24-3) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 15-12 record.
Next, the Wildcats battle the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 27. Livonia will attempt to improve on its 11-15 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 7-18 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Baker (Baker, LA).
