In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Orange Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Southern Nash Firebirds.
The Panthers (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Person (Roxboro, NC). The Rockets come into the non-league test with a 24-3 record. In their last test, Person gained a win over Croatan (Newport, NC), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Firebirds now sport a 20-2 record.
