Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) followers went home happy Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), 2-1 in a non-league game.

The Matadors now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Mesa for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 25. Sandia will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-10.

The Storm (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Cibola nipped Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
