In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Hillsboro Spartans soccer squad scored a close 3-1 win over the Hood River Valley Eagles.
The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Broncos go into the 5A Northwest Oregon battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Parkrose by La Salle (Milwaukie, OR), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam (Milwaukie, OR). The Kingsmen go into the 5A Northwest Oregon battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Putnam nipped Centennial (Gresham, OR), 8-0, in a league battle.
