The Southside Christian Warriors held off the visiting Union Grove Christian Patriots soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Warriors now sport a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tabernacle Christian for a non-league match on Friday, October 27. Southside Christian will encounter a Conquerors squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Greenville Christian Academy (Greenville, NC). The Conquerors record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Union Grove Christian drops to 11-9 on the season.
